Answer:

My element name is Rubidium (Rb) and its atomic number is 37. This element will be found in the category alkali metal. Robert Bunsen and Gustav Kirchhoff discovered rubidium in 1861. I got my idea for my print by researching what are my element and the uses. I found out that rubidium is found in this special camera and laser. So I choose the laser. I made my plate by having the laser on the corner sapping into the air and in the laser on top there’s a science element. It was hard but fun to make this print. It was difficult to cut and see what type of sharp I should use and I needed to use safety, also I had to make sure I did what will pop out and what will not. The fun part was that I was doing something different, and shows my creativity. I made the prints by making my art on paper to something everyone can see. I then later on cut out what I thought should pop put/shouldn’t pop out. When I was done, I painted the plate, and place it on paper so it could look like a stamp. I think the best part was cutting and painting. However, if I had to choose one I would say painting, because with cutting you had to be precise, careful, and you had to make sure that you had something popping out and not popping out. If I could do this again I would have use time management because with this I could have made it better.
